Amazon has reportedly advised managers to not inform workers that they’re being monitored underneath the corporate’s new performance management software.
In line with paperwork obtained by The Seattle Times, some Amazon workers have “described the expertise of being on the performance-management plan, referred to as Focus, as baffling and demoralising”.
Underneath the ‘Focus’ programme, managers are instructed to not talk about the efficiency checks with workers.

“The corporate expects greater than one-third of workers in ‘Focus’ to fail the programme and go away Amazon,” the report claimed.
The ‘Focus’ programme has changed an earlier performance-management software, referred to as the “improvement listing”.
