Taiwan’s Economics Minister Wang Mei-hua spoke to senior executives at Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co Ltd (TSMC) in regards to the international scarcity of auto chips, the ministry stated on Monday.
The ministry stated TSMC informed them they may “optimise” the manufacturing technique of chips to make it extra environment friendly and prioritise auto chip manufacturing if it is ready to additional enhance capability.
